金鶯隊陳偉殷台北時間8日對白襪隊先發，投6局失2分，金鶯隊延長賽10局下靠著Matt Wieters擊出再見安打，4比3贏球，殷仔無關勝敗，陳偉殷賽後說「這是重要的一勝」，至於隊友火力沒支援，殷仔表示他沒有想太多。
陳偉殷前2戰先發表現不佳，他覺得是自己太過於重視球速了，因此投球太用力，這一戰完全不同，他專注於本壘板與捕手的手套，盡力投好球，他完全不在意球速，只注意自己投出球的位置，他很滿意自己今天的表現，因為大部分的球都有投到自己想要的位置。
陳偉殷今年經常在比賽後段出狀況，本季他前5局失32分，但他第6局及第7局就失掉15分，因此殷仔投完6局，用了99球，金鶯隊總教練Buck Showalter 決定在第7局換上牛棚投手，陳偉殷說他完全信任總教練的決定。
陳偉殷說現在每場比賽都很重要，今天這一勝對我們球隊是很重要的，我沒有想太多，只是專注於比賽，盡力投好球、投速球，我一點都不覺得累，我還很強壯。
陳偉殷也說他已盡量壓低失分，也很相信隊友的守備，大家都作好了自己的工作，我相信隊友。 (接下一頁)
