內政部今（9）日部務會報修正「區域計畫法」部分條文，將全台「4大區域計畫」調整為「縣市區域計畫」，內政部次長蕭家淇表示，未來各縣市內非都市土地的規劃由各縣市政府自行決定，將可確保國土合理使用。
內政部表示，「區域計畫法」自1974年公布施行後，僅在2000年進行部分條文修正，考量部分內容已不符合現今政策需求、環境變遷，「國土計畫法」又尚未審議通過，因此先行修正「區域計畫法」，以落實國土計畫法的精神。
內政部次長蕭家淇表示，目前各縣市自擬的都市計畫太過零散，內政部推動「縣市區域計畫」，將有利做整體規劃。
蕭家淇說，「全國區域計畫」將在10月底發布實施，「縣市區域計畫」則依各縣市政府規劃的進度將在明年陸續上路，至於修正後的「全國區域計畫」將延續過去的做法，土地開發管制都依照舊有規定，完全沒有鬆綁。
